A very good hotel lovely room and perfect for visiting the stockyards The breakfast was the best we had in any hotel this trip.Bar meals were also good.On thanks giving as all the resturants were closed Suzanna (director of hospitaly)arranged a meal for all the guests(Free)which was a realy nice touch and a lovely meal. The only problem was the train noise but worth putting up with to stay there. The Hotel had the most beautiful coyboy paintings just wish they had been for sale.We would have filled in there on line feed back form but by the time we got home it had expired shame as we would have rated it highley

Just got back from a fantastic Cotton Bowl weekend and stayed at the Hyatt Place. Can't say enough about the location. Midnight Yell for Texas A&M was held at the end of Exchange Street so we literally walked out the building to Stockyard Station to join the fun. Even Reveille stayed at Hyatt Place...Whoop! Yes, it is a pet friendly hotel!

The Stock Exchange/Stockyards was across the street. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, Billy Bob's and shopping. We were so glad decided to make this hotel our command center for a great football weekend.

Having the cafe area in the lobby for snacks, drinks, etc after sightseeing and the game was perfect. Free continental breakfast and free parking were awesome perks as well.

Highly recommend. Thanks for helping us have an awesome Cotton Bowl experience!

Room Tip: Try to get a higher floor (we were on 5) that faces Exchange Ave. Nice view.

FREE parking! You can walk to unique restaurants and shopping without fighting traffic and wasting time looking for a parking spot. The lobby is inviting as is the help who actually spoke English! Rooms were spacious with lounging area refreshment area and desk separate from bed and bath. Toiletries provided added a nice luxury touch. Fluffy beds and big TV with lots of movie choices provided extra comfort and relaxation. The breakfast buffet had healthy choices and a little gourmet to boot. Ask for window to see the christmas lights and/or the herd. Checkout at noon so no rush. Best place I'd been in a while. Found a great deal too with patient online shopping. Merry Christmas!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The location is perfect and very accessible to all the shops, restaurants and is right across from the coliseum. It is also walking distance from Billy bobs. The room was very nice and clean, the beds are comfortable! The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Whenever I am in this area again I will definitely choose the Hyatt at the stockyards!

Stayed two nights with husband and 17 y.o. son in Room 502 (top floor). Had all amenities for travel (eg free wi fi, breakfast included etc). Room fairly large. Two Queen beds and a large lounge/sofa bed, desk for laptop, bar fridge. Bathroom itself a little small. Had shower/bath and toilet. Never seems to be enough towel rails in hotels. Hand basin outside bathroom which actually worked out well for our arrangements. As in some other reviews we heard the trains at night if we woke up, which we did on the first night but I think if you are tired enough you'd sleep through. Also found the a/c noisy so turned it off. There were some hairs in the shower on arrival and I don't know how often they vacuum.

It is a great location for the Stockyards. Good to have a hotel shuttle to take you into the cbd but it's just as easy to catch the local bus which we did.

It did the job for us but I might try Stockyards Hotel next time.

Out Team of 31 had the pleasure of conducting our meeting at the Hyatt and Stockyard Station. From day one I was greeted with friendly staff that were willing to accommodate us with all our needs, including some that were not planned. Everyone went above and beyond to meet our requests. So refreshing to know that there are still some "customer friendly" venues that appreciate their guests. We would definately recommend to others and consider holding another event at this location. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

I cannot say enough about this hotel in regards to customer service. From the moment you enter, the staff makes you feel comfortable. The hotel is in a prime location within the stockyards and the free parking and free breakfast is a great benefit if you stay at this hotel. My family and I will definitely stay here again. Plenty of parking so there is no hassle, and the breakfast has an array of choices to satisfy most people. They even have a bakery/coffee section where you can make purchases as well as a bar to have a drink and order food. The rooms are quite large and the beds are very comfortable. The daily cattle drive even occurs right in front of the hotel. I cannot wait to return!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel are closer to the parking, but there is not really any problems. Ple...
