“Soothing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

If you need a break from touring or a convention you're attending, spend an hour in the water gardens to the south of the convention center. Each part has it own charm, but the large set of waterfalls with the steps down to the base leads you off into another world.

“Reflective, artful space in the middle of the city”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Came here one chilly January afternoon with few other visitors around, but enjoyed the art and the fauna immensely. The fountains are unique to any city, providing a kinetic presence that is at once calming and exciting. The sculptures are beautiful visually and philosophically. Everyone in our group immensely enjoyed the visit, from kids age 7 to adults. We walked down the water fountains to hear the rare sculpture that roars around us, providing a reproduction of natural waterfalls and cataracts.

“Beautiful place where the city and its hustle and bustle immediately disappear.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Interesting and beautiful. It is a haven for calm and peace within the busyness of a big city! You won't be disappointed if you take the time to visit.

“The Water Gardens-A Relaxing Spot in Downtown Fort Worth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, adjacent to the Convention Center, provides a relaxing setting to while away a bit of time on a busy day. Designed by Phillip Johnson, the gardens, divided into several different water features, provide a variety of experiences, ranging from the Quiet Pool, to the cascading water flows of the largest feature. If you are, feeling sure-footed, walk down the steps to immerse yourself in the experience, or watch the colored jets of water dance in the evening. This is a creative take on humanity's age-old fascination with water in all it's forms.
