Near downtown, close to easy parking, lovely setting. A touch of relaxation in the midst of hub bub. This site is easy on the eyes and very relaxing.

“Awe inspiring project.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

This is an entriguing display of workmanship and artistic design using water. Walk down 2-stories of cascading step pads, which narrow as you descend, while water rushes underneath. Two other water displays include a fairly scerene Quiet Pool sunken below noise levels and surrounded by coniferous trees, while skyscrapers project above the trees. A spray pool is also on the site. Lots of concrete. Parents may experience anxiety as their kids descend the water display.

The water gardens is only tiny but it is pretty and calming and a nice place to eat a picnic or just relax and take a few minutes out of the city.

“Artistic playground... fun for the whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

First thing, its FREE. My family and I went during Veteran's day weekend and it was not crowded at all. It was worth the time to visit both at night and during the day. Local street parking is free during the weekend and after business hours. A short walk from the water gardes is downtown and a small JFK memorial, which I would recommend. One of the four water garden exhibits was closed for maintenance. The water garden is a nice place to visit with family or even spend a relaxing time with a loved one. Don't forget your camera, as there are many photo opportunities. There are no public restrooms close by, so plan accordingly.
