“Great menu.....good food..in Safe Sundance Square, Ft. Worth, Tx.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We were really impressed by the variety of selections on the menu...not just Tex-Mex, but some Cuban accents also. We were waited on promptly and the food was served hot. The salsa was outstanding. Reasonably priced.. Definitely worth a try. I am told that they do not take reservations for groups under ten..always a problem if you want to eat downtown and then attend a BassHall performance..hard to judge what the crowds will be at 6:30-7PM.

“Margaritas were HORRIBLE”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

We stoped here for some drinks during happy hour and order a peach margarita and a regular on the rocks and were totally disappointed in them... To much sweat n sour and the limes were old, on the peach you couldn't taste the peach at all... We also order a White Chocolate bread pudding that was good but no amazing... Didn't try the food but wouldnt go back.

“"Voted Best Mexican Food in Fort Worth???"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

After a long day siteseeing in Fort Worth we turned to Tex-Mex to recharge the batteries. We headed over to Cabo Grande in Downtown after hearing the food was award winning. Wow, not so. At best it is ok. The menu is more Cuban than Mexican and the spice of choice is harbanero, which is ok if you like really hot, but I would have appreciated a "hot" option in addition to "lava". Actually the food was probably not that bad, not when spending $$$, I expect more from the food. The atmosphere is really nice though, and the bar in outstanding, a really great corner location with windows looking onto the street patio. I imagine that better reviews (and awards) were preceeded by plenty of drinks at the bar.
