“A Fort Worth Tradition”

You don't go to the Paris Coffee Shop for food...it's good but nothing special. You go to listen to the "ghosts"....policitcians, movers and shakers who did deals across the 50s style tables that changed Fort Worth and beyond in so many ways. Even today, look around and you see the lawyers, doctors, Indian chiefs having a cup of coffee, philosophical discussions and yes, making deals.

“Typical Texas diner”

"Coffee shop" is a bit of a misnomer by today's standards. Paris Coffee Shop is a large, typical old- time (1930's-50's) style diner serving 'lunches of the day', bacon and egg/pancake breakfasts, chicken fried steak, etc. It is a popular, average-priced cafe here in Fort Worth. A good place to eat and meet friends if you are not looking for 'fancy'. Daytime hours. Though a rather large room, it has the feel (and taste) of typical 'town square" diners throughout the Southwest.

“A Fort Worth Tradition”

My daughter and I visited Fort Worth to be actors at the "Hangmans House of Horror" on Forrest Park Blvd. We stopped at Paris Coffee Shop to meet friends. The service was excellent and the fooed was great. This is a well kept secret!!!

“Best of ALL.”

Not to classy, but food is the best! Bisc and gravy are to die for. Lunch specials are great, cheap, but the line can get you, so be ready! Love it, and take a piece of pie or a cookie home! Yum! Love it!
