We had high expectations on arrival.
It was Friday night, the restaurant was large and we walked in immediately feeling the vibe of a classy high street establishment. The bar was busy with couples having dinner at the bar. A piano man was playing some tunes, and people were singing along. All the signs were pointing to a great night.
We were soon seated and our waitress was delightful helping us walk through the extensive wine list with many countries represented. Another big tick.
Bread was soon supplied and then re-supplied as we waited on our entrees.
And this was where we were disappointed. Our steaks were really average. Overly fatty and chewy, lacking a great tasting basting (or marinade) that most quality steak places we're used to apply.
The onion rings were enormous. We've never seen them so large. We ate 2-3 of a stack of 5-6, they were that big. A little too greasy, unfortunately.
We wouldn't recommend it especially for the prices charged for steak (average $50)
