“food is so good - always crowded and super loud”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

If you want a quiet dinner, this is not your place. If you want loud hustle and bussle over margaritas and queso...this is what you get. The food is fresh, they make the tortillas in front of you. Plan to wait. enjoy a huge ice tea or margarita and basket of chips in the bar while you wait and split an entree and add a side of shrimp to every dish. you wont regret it. they also expanded the patio area which is really nice. It has heaters for winter and fans for summer. Although no one really uses the patios during august in Texas.

“Pretty good...but worth a wait?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

40 minute wait...well the food was pretty good, the service was average, it was good but not worth the wait in my opinion.
The tortillas are awesome, obviously made at the restaurant. The service was hit and miss, our server was very friendly but a bit overwhelmed. We got ditched after the food arrived, asking random servers for refills. Super crowded, but again....average.

“Great Tex-Mex”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

We have been going to Uncle Julio's for several years. They have never disappointed. Flour tortillas are made right on site. Our favorite is el gordo. If you are hungry and looking for good food and drinks this is the spot.

“Fantastic Fajitas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Some of the best fajitas in the Metroplex. We've been going here for years. Because it's so good, there's often a long wait and the parking is limited but when you've got to have Uncle Julio's, you deal with it.

“A Ft. Worth fajita legend.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

My wife went to school at TCU ten years ago. This was our favorite place in the city to get fajitas. Nothing has changed. Amazing tex-mex.
