“What a charming piece of history!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

This turn of the century home is a step back in time. We stayed here for one night. We had the largest room which also comes with a newly-redone bathroom that is almost as big as the bedroom! Nice shower, claw-footed tub, two sinks, and a tiny bit of the old wallpaper peeking through on one wall, purposely left there to remind you of the history of this restored home. The three people who own and run this gem of a B&B have really put their heart and soul into the place. Shabby chic done 19th century style. The breakfast was wonderful. The place was very easy to find, which is always a plus. Very welcoming innkeepers!

Room Tip: I would try to get the biggest room! Mainly because I loved feeling so spoiled in such a super-big...

“Exceptional Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

The Rosen House Inn (Bed & Breakfast) in Ft. Worth was amazing. From the moment we drove up to the moment we left I felt like family and were even greeted with freshly made cookies upon walking in front door. We were even able to park in a gated area by the pool so I felt my car was safe over night.

The house is full of antiques with a lot of unique stories. Every room has a different design but holding true to the antique decor. You will be amazed by the collection and be sure to look closely because you will surely miss something!

Every room has a private bathroom and handmade soaps for your enjoyment. A cozy atmosphere with the most comfortable bed (mattresses bought locally and made in the USA) you will ever sleep on.

I can't say enough about the breakfast, either. If you leave hungry it will NOT be because the host was stingy...it will be because YOU DIDNT EAT. Pressed coffee, orange juice, and water were served along side freshly made muffins, fruit parfait, and eggs benedict with hashbrowns. Everything was delicious and prepared to perfection.

Kelly Bowden is an amazing host, full of energy, and never meets a stranger. She wants you to have an exceptional experience and that you will. I will definitely be back to stay!!

“Perfect night away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

My husband stayed here for a night away during the holidays. It was a great stay, you did not feel like you were in the middle of the city. We enjoyed supper at a quaint restaurant just a few streets over. We were greeted with a yummy treat and breakfast in the morning was fantastic! The house is like a museum, filled with so many antiques. Would definitely stay at again!

“Short stay but will be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

My husband & I stayed only one night in December. The home was beautiful, room was nice, the bed was like a cloud and breakfast was very tasty. It is in a neat historic area of Ft. Worth near great restaurants. We moved away from the city last summer and enjoy coming back to Ft. Worth. We will be back again for sure!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Magnolia room, but all rooms looked beautiful.

“This ain't a B&B - this is home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Basically we planned to stay for just two nights. But from the very first second we lost our heart at the Rosen House Inn - so we stayed two more nights! As the Rosen House Inn was nearly booked out and our visit was very spontanous, we had to switch rooms every day. The great thing about that: We had the chance to sleep in every single room, and each room was a different experience.

With a lot love to the details this victorian house is more a time capsule than a B&B! All kinds of different antiques make you stay much more interesting - like this original old paper from 1963, two days after Kennedy was shot! The rooms are all very cosy and lovely, comfty beds, and what a great breakfast. Deb, the inn-keeper, accomplished every single breakfast-desire, from Eggs Benedict to Cinnamon French Toast to pancakes with fresh berries. And great restaurants are within walking distance - you HAVE to try "Mijo's Fusion", where Mexican food meets Thai food. Superb!
