“Crockett St. Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Gem from start to finish the meal was great. I ordered the chicken kabob, which was a bit dry but the kafta was delicious. The saffron rice was cooked just right, fluffy and savory. The roasted cauliflower was amazing, substitute the yogurt sauce for garlic sauce tastes much better. My husband had the curry chicken, he gave me a bite, well a few bites, lol. It was wonderful. The sauce paired with the saffron rice was out of bounds good. The chicken and mushrooms were creamy and tender. The hummus was another story, I've had better, seemed like it was missing flavor, needed seasoning. The warm pity bread was good. The cocktails need some perfecting, I like to taste all of the fruit juice not just liquor, way so strong. The waiting area is very warm, specially in 103 degree Texas summers. Overall would go again.

“Love the 7th Street Vibe...and the food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

I like their buffet the best for a weekend brunch. They serve hot pita bread non-stop, which is awesome. Reasonably priced, attentive service, and, my fave: the Mediterranean salad is reminiscent of that my grandmother used to make. Outside tables are a little cramped because they are so close to the railing that separates the restaurant from the street, but, still, if you want a casual dining experience, this is a great place. Their bar also opens up to the street so you can sit on a barstool outside and people watch. One of my favorite places to eat!

“If all fast casual restaurants could be this good...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Great. I take containers to go that are totally overloaded, for myself and the workers and we can have lunch and leftovers for dinner. Possible MSG in the yellow rice (mix) is one drawback, and I had a pistachio pudding that tasted slightly like bland pistachio water (didn't see it again before or after), but everything else is great. The skewers, the bread, the salads. $24 will do a massive to go for lunch/dinner for 2 people, pack the box. Probably the best restaurant in the whole W 7th street for satisfying an empty tummy!

“Lamb in Texas?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

I had the lamb kebob which was excellent. Maybe a touch dry but I ordered it medium and should have gone medium rare. The hummus app was also nicely done. Plus, it was an excellent value. I would definitely go here again.

“Buffet Much Better Than Average”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

This popular Ft. Worth eatery has a well deserved reputation for excellence. The authentic Mediterranean luncheon buffet does not suffer from the usual clichés. The falafel was the best I have ever had, and some of the quality meat dishes were unique and well above average. The restaurant is crowded with well dressed patrons at lunchtime, and deservedly so. Can't wait to go back!
