It is my second stay at this hotel; previous one was Sept 2007.
I liked both stays; I found all OK in this hotel and a very good value for my money.

In both stays, staff was friendly and efficient; hotel is very calm and well located with lots of restaurants and bars around, and it is within reasonable driving distance of Central dallas.

room was always large and clean, with all equipment operating OK (air cond, fridge, wireless internet).

I have only positive comments to make about this hotel and its staff, and I will definitely stay there the next time I come to Dallas.

My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 7:30 p.m. to check in. We were rudely told to have a seat in the lobby and wait 20 minutes before we could check in - with no explanation. We left to eat dinner and returned around 11 p.m. At that time, we were given the keys to a room that was already occupied! When we finally got into a room of our own, it had all of the coffee/tea fixings, but no coffee maker. It also did not have an alarm clock, and the remote did not work (it was not a battery issue). The continental breakfast the next morning had frozen butter, a hot waffle iron but no waffle mix, and a microwave that just kept running. It was definintely our worst hotel experience ever!

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel. I got a very cheap rate on Expedia, so for the price I guess it wasn't bad. The staff was friendly and helpful and met my requests. The bed in the room was comfortable but the pillows were very lumpy and one pillowcase was stained. However, I requested new pillows and was given them promptly. The room had a very powerful soap smell that I didn't care for, so I had to burn a candle to cover it up. The towels in the bathroom were stained and the hotel only gave me two at a time. The shampoo provided was in a little foil packet so did not provide enough for my husband and I. There was no iron in the room. There was an ironing board but it had no cover. However, when I requested an iron and ironing board from housekeeping, I received one immediately though the ironing board cover was dirty and stained. The lampshade linings in the lamps were very cracked making the lights look old and dirty. The continental breakfast was limited and not very good. Like I said, it was a decent stay for the price but I wouldn't stay here again.

I stayed here on June 16, 2005 for a couple nights. The room was comfortable, clean, and awesome, and the continental breadfast was much better than most I've seen. It had hot waffles, fruit, toast, and the usual. Watery orange juice was the only bad thing. After I missed my flight and went back to check in, the new room that I got was just as great. It was clean and well furnished. I would definitely stay here again.
