“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

I stayed for four nights on business. The room was large, clean and quiet. The internet service was fast and stable. And the morning and evening meals were great. Overall an excellent stay.

The hotel is tucked around the corner from the main road but was easy to get to and is still close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access on and off the interstate.

Unfriendly front desk staff -- no one wanted to assist or make it easier. The gym is what you would expect at such a hotel and the rooms very nice. However, I could hear the guy next door vomiting -- two mornings in a row! My parents, who are elderly, were treated poorly. I explained when I was making the reservation what the issues were . . . apparently no notes were made or no one cared! Next time I'm staying at Hyatt Place . . . the people are much nicer there.

Room Tip: Handicap Accesible rooms are the best value.

This is an excellent Homewood Suites. The staff members are personable and helpful. The rooms are well designed and comfortable with great beds and media (TV, internet), The amenities, particularly the breakfast and evening social, are outstanding.

Stayed here with two other adults for the Armed Forces Bowl, last week of December 2012. Suite had plenty of room for the three of us, with two queen beds and a foldout couch. Having the living area was nice for watching tv and chatting. Everything was new and clean. Free breakfast was very nice also, with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cold cereal, make your own waffles, danish, coffee and juices. Location was pretty convenient for the TCU stadium and there were many restaurants within easy driving distance. Museums were also within an easy drive. Overall, was very happy with the value, large suite, and location.

This brand new hotel is a great option, Hilton brand quality all through. During a long project in downtown Fort Worth, a defense contractor confab consumed all the downtown rooms. So I had to forage. Well, I'd stayed in Homewood Suites elsewhere, so I booked here. The 11 miles to downtown are not bad along the interstate, so this gives you an option.

If you need a location for the south or west part of town, this would be superb. Opened just a few months, everything has the "new" feel. Clean and modern tasteful decor. LARGE rooms in the suites. Comfy and stylish furniture. The front desk staff know what they are doing. The rooms are a cut above even for this style of hotel, compares favorably to the Marriott Residence Inn. You get a two room suite, functioning kitchen so you can cook instead of clog your arteries with restaurant fat and salt food. Homewood Suites has a flat screen in each room of your suite. The internet connection is fast, and you have the cable ethernet option. Plenty of well lighted parking.

Be sure you print a little street map - your first trip to this location is a bit tricky, but makes sense when you see how the roads work.

Room Tip: Check your driving directions for that final approach

We stayed here for the OU-TCU game on the first weekend of December. Campus and the stadium are just a few miles away although traffic back after the game can be daunting. The property is new and clean. Not much of a view from any window but the area around the hotel has plenty of restaurants. We ate at the Fox & Hound pub around the corner and it was perfect for watching the rest of the football games that evening. Breakfast was free and extensive. Easy, free parking with well-lit lots. The area was upscale and seemed safe.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors will be quieter.

New. clean. only thing missing from kitchen was an oven. spacious lobby, great breakfast. friendly staff. highly recommended.

Room had a dishwasher, full fridge/freezer, set of dishes. Nice sleeper sofa in sitting room with small dining table. comfy big bed and actual tile in the shower. Also a nice sized walk-in closet.

When we arrived on thanksgiving, they had a thanksgiving dinner with turkey and so on, and free wine, sweets, and other fixins downstairs. Also coloring books and crayons out in the lobby for the kids.

The spa is currently broken, but the pool was working. The fitness center had a full set of weights and treadmill. Will definitely stay here when we return.
