The Log cabin village is a wonderful and well spent hour or two looking back on the first settlers in Texas. It is well shaded by tall trees. The log cabins are interesting and the period actors helpful in explaining what you are looking at. The $5 per person cost was a great value. Parking is free and the Log Cabin village is close to many other attractions, including the zoo and the cultural district.
