That pretty much sums it up...great place for the kiddos. Make sure you come to see the Longhorns. They walk them through town 2x a day...kids love it!

“A great place for kids!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We brought the grandkids here on a freezing cold day, and were not disappointed. Lots of hands-on displays and activities that actually brought scientific principles to life for children. We could play with the kids on many of the game displays, and the little ones played for hours in the "Kids' Market" where, instead of sitting in a shopping cart as they would at the supermarket, they got to do all the shopping, stocking, bagging, and cashing out themselves. The artistically inclined had a great time in the Eric Carle room designing butterflies and mounting them on a display when they finished. The day ended too soon for us!

The exhibit of Quanah Parker was so interesting and the books were wonderful. Check out the bathtub, it was hilarious.

“Part of the many interest of the Northside”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Take a little time to see the Fort Worth heritage. A lot to see in one area and you will be glad you took the time out from the busy street traffic.

“Lots of Texas History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012 via mobile

We went through the museum when we took the stockyard tour. Not a huge museum but lots of history. They dont charge but "recommend" a $2.00 donation. We didn't have to pay because we were part of the tour, but we also didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted.
