“Great ambience and great service”

Highly recommend but expect a big tab. Had great expectations and they met those with flying colors. Our daughter had a great respite from college for one evening...

“Okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2010

We liked this restaurant okay. I think they were having a bad night while we were there. Potato and steak were way over cooked. Not impressed for the money. Staff was great.

“Bring your appetite...best filet I've had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2010

Bob's is just amazing. The atmosphere is great, the service is outstanding and the food...well, it is the best filet I think I've ever had.

They serve you mini bread loaves to start...it's warm and when you break it apart, it's nice and flaky on the outside. For dinner, I had the blue cheese salad, 9 oz filet, and the baked potato. The salad is the perfect size, has just the right amount of dressing and chopped egg and is delicious. The filet, cooked medium rare, was perfect. It has the right amount of texture and just melts in your mouth. They serve the baked potato plain and then bring the condiments to you and dress it for you with whatever you want...butter, sour cream, bacon, chives, cheese...the works! And you can't forget the glazed carrot..if you can find room for it!

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The only downfall is I never have room to try the dessert!

“Elegant Restaurant with a homey attitude”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2010

First off the steaks were incredibly delicious. The service was super friendly. The table spacing was very roomy and the decor very nice for a steak house. It would be a nice special occasion place. The menu is fairly staight forward. The wine list was exceptional with decent pricing.
Don't be put off with the glass jar of pickled vegetables on the table...it's the only quirk here and somewhat of a tradition, or so I'm told.
