Amazing museum for no charge! Great representation of western art. Usually there is an interesting special exhibit. Other american art work is well worth a visit also.

“Wonderful Museum”

A great exhibit of western art. The art is set up very nicely, you can wander around and see it at your own pace. The food art exhibit was fun also.

“Absolute gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Visited the AC Museum of western art today. What a treasure. Housed here are the largest collection of Frederick Remington and Charles Russell masterpieces. Additionally the museum has many significant works of other world renowned artists. Absolutely a must stop if you are in Fort Worth...and it's free!

“Always interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

I love this museum for the Remington and Russell collections. And the only way to really appreciate their art is to see first-hand the powerfully-evocative western originals displayed here. I have my share of the prints, sure, but reproductions never quite capture the vitality of these originals. Other than re-acquainting with Remington and Russell, I wanted to see the Exhibit on Texas Regionialism, which was a bit disappointing. I was hoping there would be more to it, but I do appreciate the effort.
