true historic hotel in every sense,fabulous. staff great,Eliazabeth,is perfect for helping with food.rooms large and airy,area outside is a joy,stayed for red steagull weekend,it was unreal !!

I believe it has all been said about this hotel. It's just a lovely city hotel with a true wild west feeling to it. Spacious room, wonderfully decorated with nice details. You will really feel like in a western movie without it all looking tacky. Friendly front desk staff. And the adjacent restaurant, Bar H I believe it's called, has the best steak I've ever had in the northern hemisphere :-) (and a lovely bar with saddles instead of bar stools!!!!). We were due to stay a night, and extended for another.
Only negative thing we had to deal with was that unfortunately after checking out seems we were forgotten and waited an hour for our luggage to be brought down and for the valet to bring our car...
I would definitely stay there again if I go through Ft Worth!

Have returned to this hotel several times. The hotel is comfortable and beautifully furnished. The food is excellent at both the restauarant and the bar (make sure you try the iced Margaritas!). The bar does close early (around 10 pm), but there are plenty of other bars open late nearby.
Service is excellent throughout, and the location couldn't be better!

Wonderful repeat stay at the stockyard hotel. If you want the full experience of old Fort Worth, this is your place. I've also stayed at the Hyatt Place down the street. There is no comparison when it comes to the old west experience. The restaurant is exceptional, and service is first class. The bell boys and valet were also excellent this time! A wonderful, relaxing weekend. The stockyard hotel provides a truly unique and memorable experience!
