“Super Convention Center Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

Class hotel with good amenities. Very spacious rooms for its class. It was literally only a stones throw from the convention center. Not much in eating options and more than a few blocks from the good eats. But.......very nice pool area.

The hotel was clean, updated and convenient to downtown. Interactions with the staff were all pleasant. Left the hotel with no special memories, but complaints at all. This is exactly what a business hotel should be.

Room Tip: Rooms in the North tower face either the Water Gardens or the railroad yards. I don't need to t...

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding which was nearby. It's not cheap but it is worth the money especially if you get the 'birth date' rate for your second night, that's $53 in my case. We stayed on the Club Floor which offers free drinks at night and breakfast in the morning. The room was very big as were both the beds. The pool was a bit warm but quite big too. The parking was a bit of a disappoiintment being outside, across a road and with no easy access back to the hotel and all for $15, so for the second night, Saturday, we parked on the street for nothing and it was nearer to the hotel too.

Room Tip: Go for the club room if you can afford it

Booked the room via Priceline for a Saturday night stay for $105 (tax included). All of the other hotels I looked at closer to Sundance Square was more than $140/night so I opted for the Priceline bid.

Room: king size bed was super-duper comfortable and everything was nice.

Parking: I hate to pay for parking so we opted for the street parking. We were able to find spots without much of a problem for a Saturday (and it's free on the weekends). The Hotel has a lot for $15.

Location: Technically DT but fairly far walk to the Sundance Square area. I don't know if I would do that walk in heels. Thank goodness for the hotel van shuttle! We were literally going to be late for a wedding when I asked one of the guys outside and he said, "oh, I'll take you down there." I didn't even realize there was a shuttle that went to the Square. YAY! P.s. there is also the Molly Shuttle -- we didn't get to use it, but I believe that would be handy as well.

The hotel itself is very nice and bright. They even have free internet in the room! What? But if you don't have a computer, there are computers for public use downstairs. The pool and hot tub looked nice but I didn't get to enjoy it.

Everyone was really nice and it was a nice and easy stay!

I stayed over a weekend at the Sheraton and have a mixed opinion of the place. The linens and bedding were wonderful, and the room with two queen beds was very spacious. Yet the carpet was stained, the bathroom floor needed a steam cleaning, and the door needed soundproofing. I could clearly hear every hall conversation, every door that closed, and all the laughter and celebrating from a group across the hall. The food was mediocre, but the staff was friendly. The spa didn't have a brochure or even a typed list of services or price list, and I was advised to go to my room and look online to see what was offered. I guess the hotel doesn't have a printer. I imagine this place is 40+ years old with nothing redeeming architecturally. I'll be back in Ft. Worth quite a bit but won't be staying at the Sheraton.

Thank you for your review. We apologize the carpet and the bathroom floor. We have a floor cleaning crew that works constantly at cleaning those areas. The Spa is an outside vendor and they are in the process of redesigning their brouchures and unfortunately ran out. We're sorry for this inconvenience. We do have several printers in the Link@Sheraton powered by Microsoft available 24 hours a day for guests.
We continually strive to improve the hotel and hope you will come back and see us and give us another chance.

Stayed for a wedding over Easter weekend. The room was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were fluffy and the pool is indoor (and very well maintained). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Starbucks is inside and perfect for mornings. Breakfast in the hotel is YUM.

The only negative was the parking. We had to park around the back ($15). My husband had to go to the car to get something we forgot. He was contacted by what appeared to be a homeless man hanging out behind the hotel. He kept asking him for the time and trying to get closer and closer to him. My husband figured he was about to get mugged so kept his distance. The man followed him out to the parking lot and until he came back inside the hotel. For $15 a night you should feel safe to at least walk out to your car.

Thank you so much for taking time to complete a review. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay but disappointed you were approached by a person in the parking lot. We do have security patrolling the property and unfortunately, they cannot be everywhere at the same time. Please come back and see us and let us know if there is anything else we can assist with.

We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel and Spa in Ft. Worth 3/22-23/13 for event at Convention Center. The staff was as nice as any hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire staff spoke every time I passed them and ask if there was anything they could help me with. It was a nice change from some of the hotels we have been to lately. We did not have time to try the spa but friends did and said it was great. We will stay here again next year when we go back.
