“The Age of Picasso and Matisse--Don't Miss it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

The Kimball is a lovely museum and the current exhibit: "The Age of Picasso and Matisse: Modern Art Masters from the Art Institute of Chicago" is outstanding! Don't forego the excellent audio tour. If you purchase a ticket, the audio tour is included. If you are a museum member, the exhibit is free, but there is a small fee for the audio tour.

Tickets for the exhibit are $18, but there are student and senior discounts. There are also special evening discounts so be sure to check the museum Web site for information. Definitely recommended!

Tip: If you decide to become a museum member after purchasing exhibit tickets, the museum will deduct the cost of up to two exhibit tickets from the cost of your membership.

“Make time and go”

Well worth a stop. Opened in the early 1970s it is a classic design that feels and looks both timeless and modern. Go!

“Picasso and Matisse Exhibit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We went to the Kimbell on a "free entry day" so it was quite crowded and parking was difficult to find, but it was worth it. The exhibit was good, and easy to experience even with many other people. It is a nice facility.

“Great Little Jewel in Fort Worth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

I recently went to the Kimbell to see Romare Bearden's Black Odyssey exhibit which was on loan from the Smithsonian. It was so good, and as always, the Kimbell is a delight to visit--great experience.
