“It ain't NY, NY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

...but on a per capita basis for art wealth, it kicks some butt. You will wonder how so much good stuff found its way to Cowtown. Start with The Modern and work your way North.

“The best part of Fort Worth”

My very favorite part of Fort Worth. There's a treasure every direction you look. Museums, restaurants, gardens - a great place to spend the day!

“Great for Texas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

This is not NYC or Chicago, but for a Texas city the Cultural District is great. Check the Botanic Gardens and especially the Japanese Garden; the architecture of all the museums is very interesting, and Kimbell Art Museum is probably one of the best small museums in US.

“absolutely wonderful and a "must see"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

For "Cowtown", visitors would not expect to see some of the top art exhibits in the world, but that is exactly what is in store for those who visit the Kimbell. You can be stunned by more modern works of art at the Modern. In addition, the science museum off Montgomery street is a site to see for sure. Make sure you hit all the sites in the Cultural District. You won't be sorry.

“Kimball Art Museum, Modern Art Museum, Amon Carter, and more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

You can spend a day or two in some of the country's great art museums and all for free. Not mentioned, but worth a visit, especially if you have kids are the FW Museum of Science and History as well as the National Cowgirl Museum. All can be walked, including some great food on the near South 7 area.
