“Ripped off here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

Stayed here last week and cc number was stolen. If you stay here use cash only. The faucet in the shower was at floor level so that you had to crawl to get it on. Lots of other cheaper options. This is definitely not a 2 star place.

Hotel is really a motel. Thankfully, the inside looked better than the outside. Nothing "executive" looking about the exterior. The person checking us in barely exhibited a pulse! Answered in monosyllabic words. Not very helpful. Rooms were large and I think recently remodeled/painted. Very clean and comfortable but basic. Hotel near busy road so some road noise. The wifi was very poor if you could get it. But, for a passing thru traveler who just wants to shower and sleep, it's a great value.

Room Tip: Stay as far back as can.

This worked for me. Everything worked great and the room was very clean even though it was a "smoking" room. $49 plus tax for a single. Which is much less than some of the box motels on the other side of town. It's close to the energy boom towns and I was afraid of getting ripped off. But not so.

Room Tip: If you want good wifi, ask for a room in the center of the motel. I had room 119 and it worked for m...

I'm a single guy and don't have super high standards, but I'm at the motel right now and it seems fine to me. And half the cost of LaQuinta and Days Inn. I've stayed at Red Roof and Super 8 on this trip, and this room seems comparable. And it's the only one that has had a true flat screen TV. Wireless internet works fine. Of course, I haven't spent the night here yet, but I don't anticipate any problems.

The motel looks okay from the outside, but the rooms had old and torn carpet, old painted walls and a rusty shower (no bathtub). The man in the morning at the front desk could not speak English. They were unable to give me a paper receipt for my room. There was no blow dryer in the room. My husband and I felt uncomfortable and unsafe at this motel. The man who answered the phone in the evening was not able to give us directions to the motel. We have read bad reviews about most of the motels in Fort Stockton. We may have to stay in another city when traveling down Interstate 10.
