On our trip from San Antonio to Albuquerque we probably liked this stay the least. We stopped in Lubbock at a different hotel on the way up and it wasn't as nice (but we also only paid half as much.) The cost of rooms in this town is quite expensive and we paid much less to stay in places much nicer. If you had to stay in this town I suppose it's worth it. The rooms were clean but clearly holes in the wall had been covered up and the paint over them was white where the wall was green. All these little attention to detail things added up. It was fine for a place to sleep, but for $125 we probably should have just kept driving.
