Beautiful swimming hole about 45 minutes from Austin. They do have a cutoff for the number of people who can go in at once so if it is full you have to wait. We got lucky and were the first in line when we arrived around 10:00 am, and only had to wait about 15 minutes. By the time we left at about 11:30 there was a line of probably 20 cars, so get there early. There is an easy hike down but not quite easy enough for flip flops, especially when you are wet on the way back so take shoes that are a bit more substantial. It gets crowded on the little beach, but wasn't too bad when we walked around the slide. The water was great-- lots of people had noodles or floaties which seemed like a great idea.
