This is a cute, community-run museum based around the Danish community in Texas formed in the late 19th century. The museum has a number of artefacts and a Pioneer house from that time, as well as information about Danish life and customs. The museum is probably most interesting to those who have a connection to Denmark. We did see a few factual errors which the staff were happy to have pointed out to them. Remember to visit the nearby church and cemetary. All in all, worth to go off the beaten track to see if you have an interest in Scandinavian heritage.
Suggested donation for entry is $5.
