“Great stay-lovely, updated room, great service, no problem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2009

Booked through priceline, got a great deal. Our room was lovely, clean, up to date and all in perfect order. No mention was made of our priceline booking when checking in and we certainly weren't put in a lesser room because of booking through priceline.

Great views, great service. $12 parking fee is not that bad, and the distance from the garage to the hotel is not that far.

I stayed for 4 nights during the business week and everything was fine. The hotel was given to me through Priceline, so the price was good. Everything about the amenities, staff and lobby were above average. The rooms were average with no free wi-fi, small TVs and no HD. I believe a true 4 star hotel needs HD in every room.

The parking garage and underground walkway were ok, but the walk to room elevators was long and the parking fee of $12 per day is excessive.

I would recommend if you are ok with no HD, no wi-fi and the parking situation.

We stayed here for one night on a business trip. Pricelined and got a steal for the price. I was a little nervous reading some of the reviews saying priceline customers get the worst rooms in the hotel. If my room was the worst, I would love to see the better rooms. Large bed, nice desk, quiet, great view of the expressway, and spacious area. The bathroom could use some updating, but it was not terrible. The restaurant was expensive, but good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, there was a Starbucks in the lobby. There was a high price for the parking, but if you are in a rental or company car, you can park down the street for free and walk the half mile back to the hotel.

You would think that things would be a little more upscale with something with the name, Hilton attached to it (except for Paris of course). I stood here for a week for business and had to change my room three times because the air conditioning was not working. Then when I finally got a room where the air conditioner was working, there was a bunch of black stuff coming out of the vent! The bathroom fixtures are very outdated. I had not seen fixtures like that since the 80's. Since my room got changed three times I got to see different views from the hotel, the views from the guest rooms are spectacular. If you order room service there is a filet mignon that comes with mashed potatoes and asparagus that is to die for.
The parking garage is a walk from the hotel grounds. It gets really dark at night and the walk from the garage to the hotel is pretty creepy if you are alone. Personally, I would not stay here again.

This is an older hotel, but still lovely and kept up well. I loved the service. Our first room had water on the bathroom floor - they moved us right up the hall in less than two minutes. A lamp quit working, it was repaired and returned in five minutes. It was not too noisy at any point, and our stay was from Friday through Monday. Employees were friendly and very helpful. Being from a coffee drinking area, I was more than disappointed that their coffee stand was closed on weekends. The food was good in the on-site restaurants, but a tad pricey. I was really very impressed with the level of service. It is near the Galleria and they provide free shuttle service there and back. It is not near downtown Dallas, but if you are brave enough to drive the freeways, you have relatively quick access to everything. A comfortable and great stay.

Me and my husband stayed here on Valentines Weekend 2/13/09-02/15/09. It was an excellent hotel and staff was friendly. There is one thing that they need too eliminate and that is the $12.00 fee for parking a night plus tax and this is a seperate taxed charge from your room total. The was alright it was clean but needs upgrading. The breakfast was excellent especially the new potatoe and onion dish and the shuttle to the Galleria was perfect and convienant.

This was a nice hotel. The lobby was quiet, and the staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable.

This was great hotel for shopping. They offer a free shuttle to the Galleria Mall on the hour. It is also near ValleyView Mall and was about a 10 minute drive to North Park Mall.

The room was clean, but the bathroom was in need of an update. The finish on the tub was worn, but was in fair condition. I only mention it because so many hotels now have awesome bathrooms.

We booked the bed and breakfast package. The breakfast buffet was at Crockett's on the pool level. It was amazing! The food was good and the service was perfect. They had standard breakfast items, and a cook to prepare omelets or eggs any style.

I would recommend this hotel.

  • Liked — The location and the restaurant.
  • Disliked — The bathroom was showing wear.
