“Nice hotel in DFW property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Has been remodeled since last stay with lots of plugs added to room. The outside might be so-so but rooms are very nice. Validation of parking makes stay in this hotel a good value if you plan to be gone a while.

a great hotel as a stopover when transiting between flights or before or after a long haul flight. Can walk from terminal C or shuttle every 20 minutes to others. Efficient reception, good size modernised rooms and bathroom, no airport noise, ipod/iphone dock, excellent gym, good bistro for meals, free wifi in lobby. Negatives were no in room safe and no refrigerator.

This was the third time we have stayed here when we have not been able to connect to a destination in one day. In the past we have walked to the hotel through the parking garage, up some stairs and over a bridge. It takes less than 10 minutes and feels good after sitting on a plane. In this case, we arrived very late so we felt more secure taking the hotel shuttle. It was there to pick us up within 10 minutes of calling the hotel. Check in took less than a minute. King room was large, very clean and nicely decorated. It has a great desk type set up for anyone who wants to work with lots of outlets for charging. Being at the airport it is surprising that it is not very noisy. In the morning, they had multiple shuttles to the terminal and drop off was quick and seamless. The Grand Hyatt is actually attached to the terminal but the price is always significantly higher.

The hotel is one minute to to the airport via shuttle. Have been here twice for meetings. Each time the room has been clean, crisp and neat. The meetings rooms and food service were good. It's a busy, high useage place, but doesn't seem to show it. The restaurant and lounge are pretty good. No frills ,but they have gotten it right both times I've stayed.

This is really nice hotel located right on DFW airport. The rooms are clean and the people are very nice. The only thing that I don't like is the showers in the king rooms. They are walk in with no doors and the wate pressure is way to high. Just stay in a queen room and you will enjoy it.

Upon arrival from the courtesy shuttle from the airport, I walked to a well lit, extremely clean lobby area. There was a short line with several guests coming in to check in but with each guest I noticed great customer service from seasoned staff members as well as the staffer who was in training. It was clear to me that Hyatt Regency DFW does not skimp on hiring and training persons who have awesome customer service and will represent their name with the highest regard. There were two restaurants within the hotel, I chose the Sports Bar over the other. Both were fairly packed and I did not see a grumpy face in either location. The waitstaff came over promptly my beverage and meal came out timely, the waitstaff person was courteous and checked on me often. The room was an upper level room the hallway was clean and mostly free of room service pick up trays. The hallway smelled fresh and the soda and ice machine area were clear of clutter. The room did not have the best view but this hotel is connected to the airport so a parking lot view was fine with me. The bath was area was roomy and clean. The house keeping staff did a great job. The bed was really nice. The decor in the room and in the bathroom was modern and did not appear to have any dings or chips. Over all this was one of the best rooms I have stayed in.

Good if you have a layover. The view from the rooms is of airport stuff, so not a scenic place. Hotel is not very foot accessible to the terminal, you will need to take their shuttle there and back. The Grand Hyatt is the one that is accessible to the terminal - but be careful. If you have luggage checked, then you exit security to pick it up and will not go back in to take tram to Grand Hyatt.

The room service food was expensive, but outstanding! The quesadilla and tortilla soup are awesome, as was the pizza, steak, and salmon.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same.
