I stayed at the Regency at DFW for 3 nights while attending a meeting nearby. Obviously being an airport hotel the most important factor for most is location. I arrived past midnight and didn't have to wait long for the shuttle after calling the hotel. However think twice if you decided to walk. Despite that it's just next to Terminal C, the walk to the Terminal is anything but easy -- many stairs to climb complicated by less-than-clear signs through parking garage.
Another problem I had was with the BOSE clock on the bedside. The time was wrong... off by 2-3 hours. I couldn't find a way to adjust the time and wondered if anyone missed a flight because of it.
Overall... Good hotel. I just wish more attentions were paid to what travelers need.
