“Great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

Great venue for a concert or a game. Plenty of parking around and tons of restaurant and bars nearby. The W hotel is right next door which includes one of my favorite restaurants Craft. The west end is a short walk or quick ride in one of the restaurants buses which are located right outside the AA center after a game. The cheaper parking is located under the highway and it’s quick and easy to get out and hop on the highway after a game.

“Go Mavs!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

It wouldn't be a trip to the States without taking in a major sporting occasion so getting to a Mavericks game (v The Detriot Pistons) was a fantastic if not bizarre experience at times!

The centre is well located and we took advantage of the all you could eat buffet that was as advertised which challenged the most obese fans to do justice too although many gave it a great go!

We had tickets plum in the middle of the court and in the lower tier which provided a great view of the action and the mad antics during time outs and halftime. Being football fans and being used to an element of hostility at games from away support, this was never an issue even for the few Piston fans that were scattered around the stadium although this was maybe because we saw a Mavs win.

It was a great experience and one that was very friendly and brought you into the heartland of American culture.

“we had the best time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We just got home from one of the best mini vacations we've ever taken. We went to Dallas to see a MAVS game at the American Airlines Center. Our friends recommended we stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown Dallas for it's location! Wow, the staff were the nicest people we have ever met. The hotel is older, but makes up for that with it's comfortable rooms with all the modern conveniences we've come to expect in a much more expensive hotel, friendly service and amazing location to many historical sites. We were amazed at how close the Grassy Knoll (for you JFK fans) was and on our next trip plan to visit the Sixth Floor Museum. We spent a very fun night in the THRIVE nightclub which is located right inside the hotel - very convenient!! Definitely will recommend this hotel to our friends when they visit Dallas, as well as stay there again ourselves!!

“NHL Hockey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

Stayed a few nights in Dallas on business and saw by chance that there was a Dallas Stars game on AA Center. Went there and had a really good time. A lot of people but no litterally no queues. Lot of places to have something to eat. On top of all, Boston Bruins won!

“A nice arena”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

Saw the Bruins/Stars play here. It is a pretty nice arena. We took a taxi here but there is a light rail station nearby. After the game it was harder to find a taxi. I was not impressed with the concessions as I have seen better offerings at other places. But we had a good time.
