I had no idea that we had a gem like this in Dallas. The French Room exceeded any fine dining experiences we've had in NYC or Vegas. I'm still dreaming about the chocolate souffle...but every taste throughout the three courses was a revelation. The service was politely attentive without intruding on the romance that the surroundings invoke. The little touches, like the amuse-bouche, the apple cider sorbet intermezzo, the chocolates after dinner, and the so sweet (as in, touching) banana nut bread to take home for breakfast all made the experience one we will never forget.
Another surprise is the total lack of attitude on the part of every single employee we encountered.
The French Room is now our go-to fine dining experience.
