I took a cab from my hotel to espically go here.
I read the great reviews, but not sure why after going. Maybe this is good for the area, but fails in my opinion.
When I think of vegetarian, I think of healthy. Very few healthy choices on the menu. Lots of oils and cheese. Those are probably the things that taste good, but I was wanting fresh and healthy.
The "Garden of Eden" salad was iceburg lettuce, carrot strips, and red cabbage strips with a choice of balsamic vinagrette or ranch. Yuck, I could not eat the cheap side salad. I would think a vegetarian cafe with a salad of that name should be mixed greens, sprouts, beets, kale, chickpeas, hemp seeds, tahini etc... not iceburg, carrots, and ranch.
Spinach and Potato curried vegies with rice was on the board. When it came out, it was green beans and carrots. They ran out, but failed to tell me. Flavor was average.
The Dahl lentil soup was great, I would suggest it. So is the chai tea.
Neat looking place and nice outdoor seating.
Service was very friendly, but also very poor. Seems more like a hangout place than a restaurant.
