“Fun place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

The original - and worthy of its reputation. Fresh, warm tortillas - yummy! Neat area of Dallas and a great place to 'people watch'. Love the friendly wait staff.

“Vegetarians Stay Clear!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

This place looks for ways to add meat products to your food! Tortillas and beans with lard, adding chicken stock in the rice... They appear to be anti-vegetarian with their menu options! One positive thing about this place was that the waitress was knowledgable about the lack of vegetarian options. Needless to say, we won't be going back!

“Good food= good times!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

We chose the Blue Goose after passing up on several big Tex-Mex chains.
The atmosphere is sidewalk bar w/ restaurant inside, a little noisy for the older generations who like to chat. This is Greenville Ave so the vibe is great!! Trendy folks walking the neighborhoods w/ their dogs in tow & locals visiting on the patio. The food was a pleasant surprise too!
Sour cream enchiladas were outstanding and plenty for the big fellas. The Chili-rillenos were done right! Salsa is pretty spicy but was great! We will definitely be back.

ps Margaritas on the rocks were not overly sweet & had plenty of tequila :)

“Local spots serve the best food.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

great Tex-Mex food is serve at the Blue Goose.....now the salsa is very spicy but delish and the tamales are really homemade!!! I had a spinach, chicken and mushroom quesadilla and it was absolutely the best quesadilla I have had. The service was great and it is very kid friendly. Inside or outside eating is available.
