When asking numerous people in Dallas where to go for a special meal, most people said 3 Forks. I would highly recommend booking, even on a week day, as it was full all evening.
It is quite a formal restaurant. I didn't see any men in anything other than shirts. Women were dressed in a variety of outfits but all smart.
I thought the staff were excellent. Really friendly, really helpful, attentive but not overbearing.
Prices were reasonable. You could spend significant amounts if you had all three courses, numerous sides and an expensive bottle of wine.
We skipped on appetizers but had the filet and the double pork chop for mains. Both were beautifully cooked and both came with mash, creamed corn, green beans, tomatos and spring onions, so there really was no need to order extra sides.
I definitely like to go back. They had a fantastic looking bar menu, so perhaps we'll try that next time!
