A business colleague and I had dinner at the Mansion restaurant last night and we were quite pleased with our experience. It was not full, so we had a seat in the small room overlooking the outside garden. The ambiance is classy, understated, and quiet. We each ordered an appetizer (a salad and tortilla soup) and then split three dishes - the white asparagus, the branzino fish, and the beet salad. Each was beautifully prepared, tasty, and elegant. We agreed that we would have been over-full if we had a full order each of all three. Nice bread selection with a big chunk of soft butter and delicious iced tea. It was well worth the short trip from the dreadful food in and around the convention center for such a dining adventure. You won't be disappointed!
