We took the “Dallas Overview” tour rather than the “JFK” tour since we had already spent a good deal of time learning about the assassination at the 6th Floor Museum.
As for the pros, our driver and guide Tyler was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and spoke loudly and clearly throughout the 75-minute tour. The overview of Dallas and its various districts is very informative and interesting, and note that it DOES include a brief drive down the same road as the JFK assassination within sight of the Texas Schoolbook Depository. (They have a second tour focused just on JFK, but if you want to learn more about Dallas overall, this is the more comprehensive tour.)
The only real con we experienced were the unpadded and fairly uncomfortable bench seats. We sat in the back which is great for views but probably more bumpy. If you’re looking for something more comfortable, try sitting up front and possibly bringing your own cushion if feasible.
This is a tour (and Tyler is the guide) we’d highly recommend if you’re new to Dallas.
