“What a boutique hotel should be..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

From the perfect downtown location...to the staff...to the rooms...to the service...we loved everything about HotelZaZa in Dallas!
The architecture and design in the lobby dictate that this is not your typical hotel. Very luxurious and inviting. The hotel staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful.
Loved the well appointed rooms. Everything that you need is there with comfortable beds...
A nice touch....each floor has a morning beverage station for fresh hot coffee or tea. It was so nice not to have to make average coffee in the room or pay high prices for a pot of room service coffee. They think of everything.....
In the lobby....delicious iced tea was available throughout the day.

The location was in a perfect tony spot in Dallas. Many great restaurants are walking distance.
I would highly recommend Hotel ZaZa to business or leisure travelers in Dallas. Here's hoping more of these "perfetc" boutique hotels open in other cities across the country.

Room Tip: If you can afford it....try to get a suite. We heard that each is very different and unique. Becau...

Perfect! Thank you for the terrific feedback! We are always thinking of new ways to provide our guests with a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience at each ZaZa stay. I am glad to read that the butler's pantry was a nice addition to your pleasant visit! We love ya at ZaZa!

The Zaza is one of the country's best boutique hotels because of its luxurious style and service. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your every need both great and small.
The ZaSpa is a wonderful bonus to this quaint spot.
I travel to Dallas at least every other month for business and a few times in between for play. Zaza is always my pick.

Spent one night in the Red Shoe Suite. Upon arriving..valet are eager and welcoming. The lobby and pool areas are beautiful. All help associated with the hotel are pleasant and helpful. Special shouts out to the Bartender in the pool area.
Decor is plush and opulent. Very impressed with this hotel. The Red Shoe Suite was beautiful and was stocked with everything to make our stay a memorable occasion.
Maybe a little pricey but they have other rooms available. This was a great stay and when in Dallas I will stay here again.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. All the staff were so friendly and efficient, from check in to leaving. The room (West Indies suite) was so comfortable, spacious with large sitting area plus large balcony and furnished throughout with so much attention to detail. I loved the flickering candles throughout hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others as best hotel in Texas. My only complaint was that I had to leave, and hope to stay here again soon, I would love to try each of the suites as they all look so interesting and different.

We stayed in the Medusa suite -- part of our wedding anniversary trip. Appreciated the bottle of bubbly, chocolate covered strawberries (and glowing candle) upon our return to the room after dinner out on the town. Oh, and the breakfast in the dining room was on the house, too.

We'd have loved it anyway: The property is sparkling clean, elegant and just edgy enough to keep the right wing crazies away (our suite had quite a bit of homoerotic and androgynous artwork ... nicely done but homophobes would freak out -- and the mini bar had an "intimacy kit" oh my!).

Big private balconies but Medusa (#300 and the rooms above) balcony is right above the entrance (larger than most but less private and chilly in winter). Got a bit noisy due to late night partying rich youngster crowd that apparently frequents the bar -- but the room was equipped with a white noise "air purifier" and we slept like babies. Yes, there was an ashtray on the balcony table (and comfy chairs and a candle, too).

Fabulous furnishings -- from the sheets to the bathrobes -- will please any thread count/laundry snob.

No in room coffee but a "butlers pantry" on each floor with free illy coffee every morning -- and a New York Times (and Dallas Morning News, etc) to boot.

Great location w/ lots of walk-to restaurants and bars (though the late night crowd was a bit raucous and young). Easy street parking (no need for valet).

Dog friendly and human friendly for sure. We'll be back, ZaZa! We love you, too!

Room Tip: Concept Suites: Yes!

The hotel was so amazing. A walks distance to the West Village and the Magnolia Theatre. We ordered room service and the lamb lollipops and mac'n'cheese were amazing!

Best wedding anniversary ever! I am glad the lamp lollipops and mac n' cheese played a key part to this special day! I think you should make this an annual ritual...lamb lollipops with some mac n' cheese at the ZaZa! Love it! Happy Anniversary and thanks for sharing your special day with us!
