It's stylish and chic - but the rooms are not functional. There's no written material about the hotel in the room -really! I guess you are supposed to be so hip that your intution allows you to figure out the amenities yourself. There is not a single drawer in the room - really! There no self-parking in a suburb with an open lot outside - really! It's so obvious the mandatory $18 valet charge daily is for revenue and not for guest convenience.

There is literally no place to store clothes that don't hang. So staying here for 3 days out of a suitcase was a pain and the large room look cluttered. The lack of storage was so bad that the extra toilet paper is on the closet shelf with the hairdryer. The only storage are three open shelfs in some furniture. It's nice to have a high large desk with two bar stools - but the metal chairs are so uncomfortable that I'd rather work on the floor. The bed linens are great, but the bath linens are nothing special, if you can get housekeeping to bring any.

This was a cool place to stay. The rooms were huge with a nice bathroom, refrigerator, nice pull out LCD TV, couch - living area, and okay bed. The staff seemed very young and inexperienced. They were not rude just seemed a little unsure of things. Had a slight issue at check in but it eventually got handled. The $18 parking would suck but you can park just across the street in the galleria parking lot for free and seems safe. There is plenty to do and lots of places to eat at the galleria as well which was a big benefit. We did not swim however the pool is indoor and looked like a nice well kept area. Overall I would for sure stay here again and this should be rated a 4 star easily. I will try and book again soon!

First of all, getting into the hotel is a headache. Coming from the main highways you have to make a u-turn to get to it. Then the parking lot is literally 20 feet from the front door and you are forced to valet park - which is the most expensive valet parking in Dallas (compared to the Westin and Hilton's). The service is unfriendly and I had a valet guy who was outright rude. The room service for breakfast was terrible. My husband did eat in the bar for dinner and he thought the ahi tuna was great. The only thing the hotel has going for it is that it is very shiny and new and clean and the rooms are large. The hotel is trying very hard to pull off a sleek South Beach motif, but they have a lot of kinks to work out before they're going to have a successful establishment.
