We visit our daughter in Dallas at least twice a year for stays if 4 days or more. Because of proximity to Love Field and the north side of Dallas (park cities), this is a very convenient location. Staff is friendly and responsive, rooms clean and well appointed, breakfast is complimentary and quite good (especially the omlette bar).

My husband and I live about 5 miles away from this hotel and spent the month of August having our house painted and checking in and out of this hotel. The first 2 weeks we were there for 3 days and 2 days without our dog. The third week we went to Vancouver for a vacation. After seeing lots of people with their dogs at the hotel the first 2 weeks, we decided to pick our dog up from the vet and take her to the hotel with us for the last 3 days of the painting project. She's a very quiet English bulldog (under 50 lbs.) and she got lots of attention when we walked down the hall and took the elevator down to go outside. Aside from this hotel being very comfortable and about as homelike as you can get in a hotel, the staff (front desk and particularly the maids) was very nice and accommodating to us and our dog. I have already recommended this hotel to several neighbors that are thinking about home improvement projects that might require them to leave for a few nights. One of the nicest things about the hotel is that they have a covered parking garage, which is particularly important in August in Dallas. It also has a great central location, close to restaurants and shopping.

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor for all 3 visits. The covered parking is most convenient for rooms on the 1...

This place is strictly for business travel and for people passing through and needing a place for the night. The desk staff is very nice and the rooms are clean but that's about it. Don't be fooled by the photos online. THis property has seen better days and the bathrooms and bedrooms are downright depressing.

Room Tip: take a room that looks into the inner courtyard but not on weekends because I think they rent out th...

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a business trip. The rooms were much quieter than the Doubletree across the highway where I stayed last time. The free breakfast was marginal, with ham, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and french toast along with the typical fruits and pastries. Exercise room was small but had good equipment. Parking costs extra, but internet is free. The bed was very comfy.... my usually sore back felt fine in the morning. Bonus: every room is a suite, with a kitchenette!

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side face the highway, and would therefore be louder.

Dear SlackJacket,

Thank you for your review! I'm glad you found our beds to be to your liking!! We would welcome any specific ideas you have for our breakfast. Along with the addition of our omelet station we started back in July, we are always looking for ways to ensure everyone has a tasty start to their day. Thanks again, and we hope to see you again soon!

Sincerely,

Jeff Pope

My experience with this location goes back to 2000, when it had opened under the Bradford name. It has been remodeled a few times and is probably due for more freshening. We had just moved back to the area so our stay here was for 3 months. The rooms are fine though a bit worn. Given all the clothes we had, we were surprised to find that there are no dressers in the rooms. All rooms have small kitchens and supplies (plates, forks & glassware). We had a suite which was great, because it puts you further away from the door and thus, we didn't hear anything that you usually get from hallway activity late at night. The evening and morning buffets were fine (the dinner menu is modest). Enjoyed the quiet evenings having a few beers or glasses of wine--especially on pizza night. The staff is fabulous! The building is located on a mostly quiet little street around the corner from Northpark Mall, and there is other shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. A very popular place for businesses to have meetings or employees staying. Free internet; both wired or WiFi. Very decent workout room. We didn't pay for parking because we were long term but the fee otherwise seems a bit excessive. There is parking on the street and it seems safe, and the area itself is very safe. Joggers can safely make their way (more or less) south through the neighbourhood, or carefully navigate through traffic east across Central Expressway and Greenville Ave. to the bustling Village Apts, and join others on the 2 mile loop around the apartments. I believe this place still represents very good value for the money.

Room Tip: Rooms on the east face Central Expressway, Interior rooms have a nice pool view and are quieter.

Great hotel and nice staff. Walking distance to fantastic stores. Great breakfast and happy hour. Secure parking garage, large rooms and comfortable beds. Rooms have kitchenettes. Suites are really nice with two televisions. Nice pool area for relaxing.

Room Tip: Rooms on the freeway are a bit noisy, but not really a problem. Probably the best rooms would be in...

Was here to visit SMU. They had an SMU rate which was an excellent value. Check in was fast and desk clerk was courteous. They have a "happy hour" Monday through Thursday with beer, wine and light bites. It was close to NorthPark mall and to a shopping center with a grocery story and Cheesecake Factory. It's also right on N. Central Expressway which makes getting into downtown Dallas very easy. I had an issue with a toilet that would not stop running on my second night there. The maintenance crew had gone for the day so the desk clerk offered me another room. She looked for one close to my room so I wouldn't have to carry my things far and they didn't have one with the exact same setup as where i was so she took me over to take a look at it and approve it before moving me. Very accommodating.

There was a good variety at breakfast. The pool is a little on the small side and is in a courtyard in the middle of the building. The gym was also small but had everything I needed.
