The main reason we wanted to stay here was the free Wi-Fi access, but the price of the room was not bad for a mini suite and free breakfast in the morning. We arrived and noticed not a lot of people were staying here. You just self park. After we checked in we walked into our room and it had a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator. There was also a small table, two TVs, and separate bedroom. We had a couch with a pull-out bed and had decent Internet access in the room. The room was clean and everything worked in the room. The bathroom was not so clean we're there was a brown rusty coloring in the tub. Otherwise I enjoy the extra room. There is a pool outside but the water was very cold. The hotel seems to be located in an industrial area along I-35 north of downtown Dallas and seemed pretty safe.
We were hungry for dinner and even there is a Whataburger next door we wanted a sit in restaurant. There is pretty much nothing in the area even with all the hotels in the area. We did find a Mexican restaurant but deciding to do take out and eat in our room.
The next day we woke up and did not realize the clock in the room was an hour off and was almost late for our event. It was not set to day light savings. Breakfast was available in the lobby and provided a nice selection of items. When we returned the place was again quiet and spent our time in the room. The ice maker in the freezer provided with ice for our trip home, and the staff was nice and friendly during our stay and when we checked out.
So, this place is for the guests who want the extra room and away from the big crowds from the neighboring hotels, but will have to drive a distance to find food.
