“Good Service, Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Grand Lux, the sister restaurant to the Cheesecake Factory is similar in that has the same ambiance, decor, and variety of menu options. I ordered the jumbo fried shrimp and fries which was scrumptious! For dessert I ordered the key lime pie (birthday treat), which consisted of a pecan graham cracker pie crust. A close second to Hillstone's. Unlike the Cheesecake Factory, this restaurant is known for its pecan chocolate chip cookies, which I've tasted before and are delectable.

The waiter that served us exhibited professionalism and the food was delivered expeditiously to our table. Expect a 20-30 minute wait to be seated, as this is located in the Dallas Galleria mall, a popular shopping destination on the weekends.

“A Great Disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

I have had the pleasure of dinning at several of the Gran Lux Locations from LA, Las Vegas and New Jersey. I will say that this location was very disappointing in regards to the food quality it presented. I would not recommend this location to any of my associates in the American Culinary Federation or the Texas Chef Association period. The food was cold and overcooked and when this was raised to the waiter to inform the expeditor of the level of food quality, the manager never came over to inquire and the restaurant was not even that full. Save your money and enjoy better food at a cheaper price in Dallas.

“Great food, large portions, great service, what more could you ask for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Went with friends to this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. The menu is large featuring several types of food: home cooking, pasta, cajun, american, with a fresh bakery for desserts. I had the Kobe Salisbury steak. It came with fresh vegs and topped with a bit of mashed potatoes. The portion was large and very very tasty. My wife had lemon chicken picato - huge portion, took half of it home. She loved it. Everyone in the party enjoyed the food, service was great, and the adult beverages were great too. We will certainly go back, and maybe this time we can save room for one of the delicious looking desserts.

“Great dining experience and you will love the decor.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

The atmosphere and feel of the cafe is relaxed and informal. Service and food was of high quality. Impressive wine list and bar selection.
My only criticism is that the menu is too big.
