We had early dinner reservations on a Saturday night. Complimentary valet parking is available at the restaurant. I also saw a sign for self-parking down the street as well. We arrived slightly early and were warmly greeted and seated immediately. It was only 6:00, yet there was much energy in this beautiful restaurant already.
Our server, Patrick, was there to help with any beer/drink selections (and there are so many). He recommended a Peticolas velvet hammer to go along with the special of the night---a grilled salmon layered over hearts of palm and escarole. Pure bliss! We also tried the roasted chicken served atop pureed cauliflower with asparagus. Also very delicious! At some point, along came another server who landed a sample beer on our table. I do believe that this one is my new favorite beer---Revolver brewery's (in Granbury) Blood and Honey wheat beer. Oh my! The beer is infused with local honey and blood orange zest. Service was spot on the entire time!
We rounded out the evening with bread pudding and french press coffee. Patrick brought out the press pot with an hour glass timer set for one minute. I believe that the coffee was local--from Oak Cliff Coffee too! Bread pudding + french press coffee is decadent and we loved it.
We will be back.......so many beers!
