“I attended school here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

I attended Graduate School here a number of years ago. It is expensive as it is a private university. Wonderful facilities. Easy to get onto the campus, it is not far off North Central Expressway in Dallas, actually in University Park.

“Nice Campus, overrun with "Bidness" types”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

If you want to buy one, a building with your (or your company) name on it is available. Library is outdated to the point of embarassment. Pretty campus, and something in the water makes all the sorority girls buy black BMW's. The Pres. Geo. W. Bush Library is under construction, but seems far too large for the collection. An associated "think tank" is planned, which will be interesting.

“Great Campus/Great Area....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2012

I went to SMU - it is in arguably the nicest area - University Park and Highland Park - of all of Dallas. I personally like the homes on Swiss Avenue better - but just my opinion. As far as the Park Cities area - this is the area that the new ABC show - GCB - centers in on.....and it's not too far off - these people are the reason Dallas gets a bad name.....pretentious/money hungry/snobs/racists/republicans.....but I label it a great area b/c it is very safe and very nice.....just don't speed through Park Cities - you WILL get a ticket......I promise...

“Best school in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

Best school in the area, and arguably Texas. The campus is gorgeous and taking a stroll down Bishop Boulevard is always nice and peaceful. There are a lot of restaurants around the area, too, that have been in the area for a long time (like Goffs). There's a museum on campus and a church across the street. Perkins Chapel is quite a work of art as well. The boulevard on football game days is probably the best. It's like our own version of a tailgate party. Great food and free beer. Tons of fun. Pony up!!!

“Varied Speakers and Meadows Museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

SMU attracts a number of prominent guest speakers, some through sponsored lectures. They ussually have some interesting viewpoints given in talks on campus. Also, the Meadows Museum is worth a visit.
