“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

I can spend hours in here it's just relaxing! I have a few favorite spots but a top one would be over looking the lake. I love how they bring in new things to inspire. We have been at Easter time and that was funny, also a princess castle. Just tons of stuff to see!!! We did do valet parking but it wasn't too bad, since we did have a baby with us. We also ate lunch here once and it was really good. Big enough to share on most things. Chicken Salad Sandwich was my favorite.

“April in Dallas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

The Arboretum is beautiful but Dallas' cruel heat requires lots of forethought before you head outdoors, even in April. Temps in the 80's with full sun on 4/14 was already oppressive. And the pollen is off the chain - took about 3 days for the swelling in my eyes to go down.
I can't imagine how they stay open during the summer. It's $40 for a couple with a car.

“Dallas Blooms is breathtaking - go early”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

A beautiful display! Go early to avoid the crowds, and check the website for specials. We went on a Wednesday and their 2-for-1 admission price, but were disappointed at the expensive parking. I had seen a discounted parking coupon on the website, but did not have time to print out from the hotel.

“A great place to spend an afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We visited the arboretum during the bloom fest to enjoy the tulip display. Its a great place to take pictures and have a picnic on the grounds. They have several restaurants as well. It was a busy weekend for the spring blooms so they had free shuttle service to and from a parking lot not far away. It truly is a great way to enjoy the outdoors.
