“A sad but interesting part of history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

A place well worth the visit when in Dallas. The museum was very interesting, and also sad even all these years later. Many disturbing questions still remain. The plaza is situated in a nice tree lined area, across the street is the museum. On the corner across from the museum is the museum store and cafe. The tickets for the museum are actually purchased in the store. The museum is up on the sixth floor, and an extra exhibit currently going on, on the seventh floor. An elevator takes you to the sixth floor so wheelchairs are easily accessible. To really take your time and see and read everything in the museum, I would allow 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

“The 6th Floor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Interesting, across the street is the actual museum well worth a visit, the self guided tour is great. Plan at least 90 minutes. Also, check out the 7th floor while there theyhad a great photo exhibit from the AP press files of our past President's.

“Amazing, kid-friendly, and free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013 via mobile

Definitely a must-see. I suggest bringing a smart phone to Google pictures of where JFK was to compare to what is in front of you. It is eery how little it has changed.

A word of advice/my opinion: Please don't rush out into the street, stand on one of the X-marks, smile broadly, and have your friend snap your picture. Treat it like you would a battlefield--our 35th president (essentially) died there.

“Wish we'd had more time.... So interesting.”

Excellent. We all loved the tour. It was very informative. A real piece of history. Will visit again in a few years as we didn't have very long. It should be an all day event.

“Historical”

A place to remember something really awful. In general, it`s a nice looking place, but a sad place. A must if you're in Dallas area and are interested in American history.
