Hotel is fantastic. Service superb. Breakfast is wonderful and included in your rate. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms nicely decorated and housekeeping keeps the rooms and hotel tidy. We stay there every year. Love it.

This hotel mostly does it right. VERY comfortable bed, large bathroom, mini fridge, coffee maker, good wifi. Everything was clean. This is my second time at a Magnolia Hotel and I would use them again.

The elevators could use an upgrade, they didn't necessarily go where they were supposed to on the first try. And room service was limited based on time of day. In fact, finding food after 11 pm anywhere in the neighborhood was daunting, which is a criticism of Dallas, not the hotel.

This building is an interesting old place with beautiful ceilings in the elevator area of the main floor. My room had all wood floors and walls and I had a corner so looked at the building with a clock tower and the AT&T building. I really like older settings and while some of the wood in the room looked like it had experienced some water damage in the past, this place was clean and the bathrooms were nice. I liked the soaps/shampoos too! The hotel has a red Pegasus n the lobby ala Mobil Oil....and it has those Mobil Pegasus on the elevator doors on the main floor. Hotel has a hot breakfast daily which was. Huge amount of food...buffet style with eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits/waffles, fruit, muffins....big like Texas! The reception hours in the bar provide 2 free drinks which was very nice. The hotel hosted a conference I attended and the conference services were also good. Staff were friendly, and the original Neiman Marcus is next door. The street noise is something you will hear...but it is worth it to experience the smaller less "sterile" ambiance of a big name hotel chain.

This is a lovely place to stay. We really liked the art deco style, it's never out of date. The location is right in the middle of town and an easy walk to all the sights. There is a tram two streets away that can take you all over Dallas and a bus, tram interchange just a couple of blocks away. You can also walk about 10 minutes from here to catch the train to Fort Worth train.There is not much shopping or even shops in Dallas, they all appear to have migrated out of town to the malls. But we found it easy to hop on the nearby tram and go to Northpark mall and bus to the Galleria mall.

We also hired a car from Avis at the Adolphus hotel on the block next door.

The hotel food is excellent and the free drinks happy hour is wonderful! such a welcoming, clean and friendly place to stay.

The lobby was nice, the cookies were nice, the beds were comfortable. All that is true, however, what made my stay incredible was the excellent people. Without fail, every single employee I came in contact with was courteous and professional.

Nice boutique hotel in beautiful historic building centrally located. Meeting space across the street. Great food. Nice amenities (breakfast, free internet, free drinks in the evening & cookies & milk in the late evening. I would stay here again.
