“Wonderful!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was as pleasant as the first time. It is centrally located. I love the features to include the complimentary bedtime cookies and milk. The breakfast is not the typical cereal and milk. It includes hot and cold foods and beverages. A wonderful assortment. I will stay here anytime I am visiting the Dallas area. Only downside is the valet parking. It is very pricey without another alternative.

Overall, It is a great place for adults and children

As a former Texas gal now living in NYC, I fully recommend The Magnolia Hotel as the epitome of Texas hospitality. I've stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years, and look forward to the next time. The Magnolia staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a hot "continental" breakfast, a happy hour w/ 2 complimentary beverages, and bedtime cookies & milk. Like many of the revitalized Downtown Dallas buildings, this hotel is a beautiful Beaux Arts repurposed business tower - the Magnolia Petroleum building. As a result, the rooms have odd, non-uniform shapes, and many have been converted into suites with full kitchens. Beds are comfortable, and bathroom toiletries are first rate. Valet parking is offered. I recommend this hotel for any travelers (especially business), as well as people attending events at the American Airlines Center, who want to treat themselves with an overnight stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the Adolphus Hotel for a great view.

This hotel is amazing and the ppl are great!! Suites are like small apartments!! I would recommend to anyone that is traveling for work or with their family. The downtown area of Dallas is gorgeous and there are lots of places to eat surrounding.

Great place to stay. Lots of charm, historical features but modern accents as well. Room service is expensive but what hotels isn't , order delivery from somewhere else. Happy hour yay ! Breakfast really good also, well stocked, different daily, and good variety.

From the moment I drove up to the hotel and saw that it is located in one of Dallas' most iconic downtown buildings, I was in love. My room was super comfy and the staff was amazing! Also, you gotta love a continental breakfast that includes bacon!

We chose this place based on the reviews contained in this site. How glad we are we did! It was everything we expected and more. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly! The amenities are great, location perfect, and staff impeccable!

The decor of the room is a little dark but that is really just my own taste. It was beautifully decorated and not in your "run of the mill" hotel fare.

I can't say enough about the staff; from the front desk clerks to the valet they are above and beyond all expectations! Can't recommend enough!

Room Tip: The first room we were put in was a little small and the view was of the other wing of the hotel. Wh...

We stayed at the Magnolia to attend the Steeler game in December. Very nice hotel, spacious and clean rooms, nice staff (well with the exception of the front desk gentlemen that worked in the evenings- please do not ask for a cookie a few minutes before 10 or after. He is not giving them up:) for anything! haha!

Hotel is conveniently located with many great restaurants nearby and a CVS that's seems to be open all the time!! convenient!

They even have a shuttle that will take you around town/pick you up when you call. The driver's are very pleasant and helpful.

Do not hesitate to stay at the Magnolia if visiting Dallas!
