Very interesting , great photos and videos . The assassination of JFK is extremely well documented in this museum . It gives you goosebumps when you stand close to the window the shot or shots were fired by the assassin .

“Great experience, very educational”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Went with family during short trip to Dallas. Tour was educational and informative, though lining up for the tour was a little confusing. The displays are educational and tells a lot of information that occurred and the impact of what happened (i.e. - first major breaking news event to interrupt all of broadcast TV). Interesting display that also that goes into the various conspiracies behind the assassination and Lee Harvey . Grassy knoll was also interesting to look at. An overall great experience and a must-see for anyone who has an big interest in major American history events. Nice gift shop as well. Great experience for my son as well, who is in junior high school and is starting to take an interest in history.

FYI....unless you are familiar with the downtown Dallas area, the museum may be a bit of a challenge to get to. There is also a fee for parking if you park at the museum

“Well-worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

I was a teenager when Kennedy was assassinated, and the person I was traveling with wasn't born yet. We both found the museum compelling for different reasons. For me it was reliving some strong memories. For her it was an extraordinary look at important history that helped her understand the significance of this event. The self-guided tour really gave both of us an appreciation of the political and social background of the times. Standing by the sixth floor window and looking out at the street where the motorcade had been was chilling! There are also some historical markers near the grassy knoll and Dealey Plaza that you should take time to look at before or after you visit the museum.

“Very Moving!”

Very interesting and moving museum to visit. I loved having the audio headphones to listen to on the tour. Being to stand on the "X's" in the street, where JFK was shot...was an experience!

“Very interesting ”

A lot to see with this self guided tour. If you are into US history, you must stop and visit here! Isn't the biggest, but packed with lots of boards to read and items to look at.
