We went to Steve's because the Stingaree wasn't open on Tuesday. Stingaree's loss was our gain because the atmosphere and food at Steve's was so nice, we'll be hard pressed to take the extra time to drive down the road. We had fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp, and a filet mignon. And everything was done well, except for the steak which was medium rare (one question, why can't a restaurant actually cook a rare steak? They always come out medium rare.). Will we go back? For sure, and besides they're open everyday of the week, so there's no guessing. And be sure to ask for a window seat if you're there late afternoon. The sunset across Galveston Bay is one of the nicest I've seen, bar none.
