This is probably my favorite place for Friday lunch. I wish it were open for lunch the rest of the week. It's not the nicest restaurant inside or out, but it feels comfortable. It's not too loud, it never feels crowded even when it's full and the waiters are attentive, perfect portions (not too big), all for a reasonable price. This place is my respite at the end of a long week. The bonus is really good, fresh and beautifully presented food. I love being seated so that I can see the kitchen. My favorite dish is the Pecan Crusted Trout or whatever the fish special might be that day. The burger is absolutely, by far, one of the best. The chef grinds the meat in-house. It's lean, perfectly cooked and juicy on a toasted bun. This is my one exception after deciding to stop eating beef. Every now and then, a really good burger won't kill me!
