“Unique Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Eating here is always a treat. It really is an old diner, and the atmosphere has that original feel that you would expect. But, another really great aspect of the diner is its wonderful fare. The food is fresh, delicious, and abundant. Unless you are a big Aggie football player, you'd better think about sharing, or you'll either have lots to take home, or leave behind on your plate. Even a breakfast plate of pancakes needs to be shared as you'll never again see such HUGE pancakes. When we order them, we order a two-pancake plate and share among three women! Also, don't hesitate to try their great burgers and yummy desserts.

“Fun place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Please make sure you are really hungry when you come here because the portions are unbelievable! I don't eat meat but no problem! They have home-made veggie burgers that will make you happy you gave up meat. They also have an egg and cheese sandwich that is to die for. They were featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives and don't disappoint. Love this place! Their hours seem to me to be a bit funky but since they cook everything from scratch, they're entitled.

“Good Old Fashioned Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

The food at Hullabaloo is good (not great), the service is very good, and the atmosphere is unique. This is a popular place and always has a waiting list. The stated opening time on the weekends is 9:00am, but they open the gate at 8:30. If you get there at 9 you'll have a 45 minute waiting for a table.

“Fun place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

Love the Hullabaloo Diner! We go for breakfast and its delicious--but the real treat is the uniqueness of the diner itself. The wait can be brutal but it's worth it! Love this place!

“Nice, glad we went”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Food seems average, however, the diner is pretty nifty. Most prices range from $4-13.00 for a meal, food is served on foam plates (go GREEN Hullabaloo and get enviro-friendly plates). Meat loaf is recommended, and chicken fried seemed about the same as any other place in CS. Recommend the fried portabella mushrooms - a big basket for $4.99 and serves as a meal. Outside area has a live singer who is has a great voice, and a bar area. Kinda reminds you of Luckenbach in a way. Worth a stop. Next time will try the pizza, they look like they make a great one. Because you eat in a diner which resembles a train car, it is small and having small children in it in high chairs looks liked it can be very challenging. I wouldn't take mine there, but would take a 3 year up.
