“Good but over priced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the location, room and price. This time the room cost was $359.00 a night, since it was a Texas A&M home game weekend I suppose. But these rooms are not and will not ever be worth that price.

I asked for an adjustment and did receive an $80 price break over the whole weekend. But still felt a bit gouged.

The staff was very friendly and helpful through out our stay!

The hvac unit was noisy and didn't maintain an even temperature ever and had to be adjusted constantly.

Toilet needed repairing so it would flush properly.

My advice would be its a fine place to stay, but do your homework and get a better price!!

“ROOMY”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

For a married couple and two teenagers, this room was plenty roomy, with bedroom, couch and TV area, desk, and mini-bar with small refrigerator and coffee maker. It was clean, had no odors, and very well-appointed. Breakfast was nice, and several 'nooks' in public places, like a business center, casual visiting places, etc. The wook-out room was also a nice surprise; everything was clean and in good working order.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We take great pride in being the best hotel in the College Station area and love it when we get this great feedback. We also strive to be the cleanest and friendliest hotel in the area and we take great measures to make sure we excel in each of these areas. I am so happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again in College Station. The features that you pointed out are what often times separate us from the competition. With the complementary breakfast, newly updated fitness center, and our large guest rooms we are one of the best lodging choices in the area. Thank you again for choosing the Hyatt Place College Station and we look forward to you staying with us again.

“Mixed bag but would return”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Pros:
Room layout-nice kitchenette, nice sitting area, large TV
Comfortable bed, good shower
Clean
Bar in lobby
Way above average breakfast
Friendly staff
Quite

Cons:
No body lotion in bath
Kitchenette had nothing in it- no plates,no glasses, no silverware
No bureau or dresser with drawers

All and all more positives than negatives.

Attention to detail would vastly improve the experience

Room Tip: We were roadside and did not hear anything

“Another solid Hyatt Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

Have worked in College Station several times - but this was my first stay at the Hyatt Place and I'd definitely rate it highest among properties in town at which I've been a guest. Rooms are really nice, with a den-type area which includes a large sofa, desk/chair and kitchen conveniences (sink, small frigdge). Comfy bed and separate sink outside the shower/toilet area also worth noting. Very friendly staff, limited (but solid) food options on site - including a free (though small) breakfast. Convenient to numerous off-site dining options and Texas A&M. Would definitely return.

“Hyatt Place with a bath tub in King rooms!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

This is the first Hyatt Place that has had a bath tub in their rooms with King Beds, which is my preference. Enjoy the layout of Hyatt Place hotels with the separate sofa area from the bed area.

2 items why it didn't get a 5.
1. only have pepsi products (no coca cola products) and very limited at that. if i have to have pepsi, then want a root beer.
2. had to ask 3 times to have the receipt e-mailed to me. first when i checked out, second called the next day and finally the third time I finally got the e-mail.
