This place is old but very clean
The rooms are small but I was only there one night

It does need a good maintaince man but I drove a truck for years.
The shower was great and the bed was good

We were reluctant to choose this Rodeway Inn because of its out dated appearance but it was part of our chain and the only one with in walking distance to restaurants--so happy we stopped it is a quaint place. The lay out is similar to a studio apartment delightful; the bed so very good the towels very thick and fluffy--the manager friendly helpful very accommodating. We recommend this hotel for any traveler just passing threw.

Room Tip: Our room was just down from the office and across from the pool area 102 I believe; been too many it...

Although this wasnt the nicest of the hotels that I stayed in during my travels across country it wasn't terrible. It is in need of some major upgrades, but the staff was wonderful and the room was clean. It was very roomy and was right only the main road. Close to gas and food.

Okay, based on early experiences in my life as a traveler, I NEVER stay at Rodeway Inns. BUT, if you are caught in the middle of nowhere and you don't want to pay alot of money just to have a place to sleep this is fine. The rooms also have a microwave, fridge and hairdryer. The first night we stayed the room was very clean, very roomy and area was well-lit. Breakfast? Forget it, but they do have coffee and the usual cereal if you are interested. We were thankful to just get a clean room and clean bed to sleep. The next weekend on our way back, we stayed here again. It was just as clean and roomy. TV didn't work too well but that was the only drawback.

We checked into our rooms and as we entered the room it smelled. Wasn't clean, room was muggy and hot. I coulnt sleep well and the ac was to loud. I don't think they change the filter out as well. Shower didn't work and no circulation in the room. The next day the maids came knocking on the day at 8am in morning. Screaming and yelling at each other, family owned business. Outside were big roaches running around, I'd say go with a different and nice place to stay! :)

Obviously an older motel, but it was clean and roomy. It had a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom vent took a while to come on, and didn't always work. The ice machine would not work unless someone from the office came to do something to it. The swimming pool was empty. Did not eat the "breakfast" since it was usual cereal. The water in Childress tastes dirty/rusty (not the motel's fault, but just a warning). Wall air conditioner worked well. Did not feel very safe in this area.

Typical roadside motel with average prices. The rooms were clean. You could smell that the sheets were clean. wall a/c that worked. all basic needs met, but its very basic. I would never choose to stay here for an extended time, but for a night of travel, it was fine. There are better choices in town.
